The Working Committee of the Startup Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) serves as the engine room of the organization, responsible for translating strategic vision into measurable, ground-level impact for startups and enterprises across the nation. Comprising experienced domain specialists, industry professionals, and dynamic startup founders, this dedicated body actively manages core functional areas, coordinates specialized sub-committees, and drives execution across every chamber initiative.

Core Responsibilities & Functional Mandates

Flagship Event Management & Execution: The committee takes full ownership of conceptualizing and executing high-impact chamber events, including nationwide startup summits, closed-door investor meets, masterclasses, and specialized training boot camps. By curating practical sessions and structured knowledge forums, the team ensures members gain actionable business insights and networking opportunities.

Member Integration & Value Delivery: Acting as the primary bridge between SCCI and its members, the committee streamlines member onboarding, identifies business needs, and connects founders to relevant mentorship, advisory services, and commercial referral pipelines. It continuously monitors member satisfaction to ensure startups, MSMEs, and corporate members extract maximum value from chamber resources.

Sectoral Task Forces & Sub-Committees: To address specific industry challenges, the Working Committee oversees specialized sectoral groups that deliver targeted solutions.

Grassroots Expansion & Inclusive Growth: The committee drives the expansion of regional chapters across Tier 2, Tier 3, and rural hubs, ensuring the entrepreneurial ecosystem is inclusive and accessible. It designs tailored outreach programs specifically focused on empowering youth, women entrepreneurs, and rural innovations.

Ecosystem Partner Coordination: Maintaining strong operational ties with academic institutions, technology incubators, corporate innovation hubs, and government bodies, the committee drives collaborative MoUs, student entrepreneurship drives, and joint research commercialization projects.

Governance & Code of Ethics Implementation: The Working Committee actively upholds the chamber’s standard of integrity, ensuring that all member interactions, programs, and partnerships strictly adhere to the SCCI Code of Ethics, transparency benchmarks, and regulatory compliance.
